In early January, Making Caring Common convened a group of college and university leaders to explore the role higher education plays in helping students develop their desire and skills in working towards the common good. We’ll be sharing more about the event and its outcomes soon. The New York Times Opinion columnist and author David Brooks attended the convening and wrote about his experience and insights in “The Character Building Toolkit.”
