Sept 10: Free Relationship Building Training - Strategies for Deep Listening

tie-dyed ropes in a knot

Join us Thursday, September 10 from 3-4pm ET for our free “Relationship Building Training - Strategies for Deep Listening"

Register now!

Whether students are younger or older - learning in person or online - listening can set the stage for sharing and promote trust and connection in the classroom. Helping students learn and practice active listening skills can help them build relationships, understand both their thoughts and feelings as well as those of others, and make them feel heard.

In this session, you'll learn strategies to build a caring community by developing student listening skills.

We'll discuss the following during our time together:

  1. How to help students listen actively with a partner and make a speaker feel heard

  2. How to help students share about themselves and express vulnerability

  3. How to help students develop key skills related to expressing empathy

We look forward to sharing evidence-based best practices and hope to hear from you about what has worked in your school community.
